Diver's Community CIC is on the lookout for dedicated, compassionate volunteers to help drive our mission forward!
Our volunteers are at the heart of what we do at Diver’s Community CIC. We have a team of over 20 volunteers with a range of skills and experiences. We have a range of different volunteer roles available, from community outreach, mentoring, fundraising, marketing and more.
When you express interest in volunteering with us, we will discuss your skills, experiences and interests to understand which role you’d be best suited to. With all of our volunteer roles, there is no set amount of hours or days you have to give - we appreciate you will have other responsibilities, we are just grateful for any time you are able to give.
Progression and development is incredibly important to us and we are proud to offer our volunteers numerous development opportunities including funding to gain qualifications in topics such as first aid and safeguarding. We also consistently review the volunteer’s roles and identify progression opportunities. For example, our Creative Director joined the organisation as a community outreach worker, moved into an Executive Assistant role before becoming our Creative Director.
As a volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to:
